A great opportunity to attend the Milton Public Library information session and learn more about the work happening behind the scenes at one of our community’s most important institutions. 📚 The presentation highlighted the Library’s achievements, community programs and partnerships, while also looking ahead at its priorities, governance and next steps as Milton continues to grow. What stood out to me is that a modern public library is about far more than books. It is a place for learning, digital access, employment support, newcomers, families, seniors, youth and community connection. As Milton grows, institutions like our Library need to grow and adapt alongside our community. That means responsible planning, strong governance, financial stewardship and, most importantly, continuing to understand what residents need. Thank you to the Milton Public Library team and Board for the informative session and for the work you continue to do for our community. Great evening at the Milton Baithak Community Q&A! 🎙️ Thank you to the Milton Baithak team for bringing candidates and residents together for an open conversation about the future of our community. I appreciated the opportunity to share my perspective, answer questions, hear from residents, and sit alongside fellow candidates. Elections should be about more than signs and slogans—they should be about ideas, accountability, and giving residents the opportunity to hear directly from the people asking to represent them. We may not always agree, but respectful discussion and different perspectives are an important part of local democracy.
